Flood Disaster in Nashville Needs our help!
A week ago an immense storm passed over Tennessee. It dropped rain over the region as if the world was going to end. The after math has been insane. Whenever water is involved, the results can be disastrous. That has been the case in Nashville, TN.
What was observed in the aftermath?
As the local folk were allowed to come back to their homes, they could not do so as they liked to. Many had to use boats to get back to their homes. The death toll is rising and the sad part is that placing a number on the damage is hard. According to sources restoring Nashville will be in the billions. The President has already established numerous disaster areas.
Local celebrity comes back home
Country star Kenny Chesney returned to his home in Nashville, expecting a disaster. According to reports he was very disappointed in what he saw. He couldn’t believe the fact that it was all lost. His house was completely under water. He said,”We all saw what happened in Haiti and we all saw what happened all over the world. These people need just bare essentials — here in Nashville. I know it’s crazy to think that, but they do,” he said. “These people need toothbrushes; they need toothpaste.”
We need you help
David Silber, a dentist in Dallas, Texas; heard the cry for help. When I read the CNN article I thought I could help. Mr. Chesney says the region needs toothbrushes and toothpaste. I am dentist, I can help. I will donate toothbrushes and toothpaste that I have in my office. Furthermore, I will organize a collection center at m office. We urge the community of Dallas to bring toothbrushes and toothpaste to our office. We in turn will get these essential materials out to the Red Cross. They will in turn deliver them to the people in need.
